Some of our local brand organization also provides QUALITY products and service!!! Even then they fail to establish… what might be the reason?

I went to the shop to buy a notebook of 100 pages, I recognized the variety of books with variable cost. I was surprised!!!, I took each and every notebook and searched for a difference between them even though they had the same quantity of pages and were having the same size. This made me think, what might be the difference?

The way notebook pages were manufactured with respect to its touch, opaqueness, content templates, design realized me what is quality

Why there was a variation in quality of notebooks in the shop?

Everyone are uniqueness so every notebook quality is unique!!! …NO
There are certain specific standards that need to be maintained by an organization to attain quality product and services. Some organization compromise standards due to its constraint which make their product cheap and less quality. The cost of the product is always based on the quality and quantity. The Quantity of the product remain same but quality varies i.e. I was in need of 100 pages notebook which is a quantity and the type of book I need enhance quality.

SO what is Quality?

There are many technical definitions for quality but in simple words

 Quality = your happiness + your comfort + your satisfaction (w.r.t product or services)


Quality can change things  
  We all ate noodles in our life, if not please taste it and enjoy! One of the leading brands of noodles is MAGGI. In last two years Maggi faced a huge loss just because of its quality issue, similarly many startups faced the same problem
We all know about the automobile sectors might giants such as Tesla, Lamborgini, Audi, Ferrari, Marcedes Benz, Jaguar, fiat etc. none of the above company is named for its quality. TOYOTA is the only automobile manufacturing company is mainly known for its quality. thus when ever the name of quality appears in automobile sector TOYOTA stands at the peak

Quality dimensions

We I was working in a manufacturing sector, our company manufactured automobile components in which we had a new project i.e. to manufacture GEAR HUB. The dimension of the gear hub designed was satisfactory to the customers thus quality with respect to design was attained
We had tool room where a designer designed the tool for manufacturing and the production department produced it. But there was an error with respect to the design which created a huge loss to company thus quality with respect to conformance plays a major role in an organization
Later the tool was redesigned according to specific dimension and was tested the performance of the tool was good thus quality with respect to performance was achieved

Now quality can be enhanced on the basis of

1.     QUALITY OF DESIGN - preparing design that customer needs of

QUALITY OF DESIGN = SATISFACTORY DESIGN FOR CUSTOMER

2.     QUALITY OF CONFORMANCE - analyzing the product or service with respect to quality of design

QUALITY OF CONFORMANCE = SATISFACTORY QUALITY OF DESIGN

3.     QUALITY OF PERFORMANCE - Checking the performance of the product  relating to quality of design and quality of performance
